Those "interior nut bolt thingies" are to attach the luggage net onto. There should be 3 on each side so the net can be "hooked" to them in various configurations. The nets are handy to help keep full shopping bags secure in the trunk.
I have the da m e problem, but now my side mirror signal went out. Does Replacing the rear turn signal reactivate the turn signal in the side mirror or do i have to buy another bulb?

Rear one is super easy. Front one you have to almost rip the front end off to get at.

The job is much easier when you pull that black panel up and out. Also works much better when you're not drunk.
