Today we replace the ambient temp sensor on the buick regal. This problem can cause the A/C not to work because it thinks it’s too cold outside. It’s a super simple repair.

For a 2011 Buick Regal is it located in the same place?
Thanks for the tip, I’m gonna try this sensor & hopefully it will resolved my AC blow warm air every couple minutes
I have Buick Verano 2015 and my outside temp doesn't show anymore and my temp is stuck in celsius. And yes it is in US not Metrics.
What's the blue cable? My Buick Verano has the two blue cables hanging. Car stuck in celsius.
My Regal GS always says 50f
Thanks for the informative vid. As usual you are my go-to channel for DIY info. As a side note, is the Grand Prix's temp sensor located in roughly the same place?
Yes, indeed. Keep these Regal videos coming. Simple repair.
I didn't know those things go bad. Super cool info. The thermometer is very accurate from what I've seen the last 12 years.
Sux when my out side temp says -35 and it's 95. Lol. Glad you got it fixed!
How important is it for the pcm to know the temp of the incoming air?
