stuzman, I have a 2004 LeSabre and there is a tapping sound coming from the dash board but it only happens in warm weather.
Have you ever had this experience before?

Ishmael Stiggs says:

Thank you, good step to step tutorial. I have a 97' so I'm pretty sure it should be there same.

I wondered why you were in the back seat, they put those anywhere these days.

wtbm123 says:

Started right up with the new starter . That bee photo bombed you , lol

Troy WT says:

We've had temps in the upper 90s and dew points close to 80 for a week now. We usually don't get it quite so bad but heat dome and corn don't make for any fun.

Jacksonkellyfreak says:

Now, I'm by no means a coward, but I'll be damned if I'd swat at a pissed off wasp. Wasps are one of very very few things I'm afraid of.

RICKAFIX says:

I am in tears between the wasp and the Seat belt latch pure comedy gold Terry… It takes me 5 minutes to remove my starter and a hour to put it back in..did you run out of gloves? lol

Badgertronix says:

Thirsty work for sure. I'm watching this in mid winter with the fire blazing in the corner!

HP11208 says:

not easy working on cars in the cold or heat.

New Level Auto says:

Great job as always! Always a pleasure to be someone use a torque wrench. It amazes me how many times incorrect torque has ruined such simple jobs. Stay cool buddy

rhkips says:

Guess I'll be fixing my chair today! Dear goodness I hate bees……

238,710 miles, eh? That's impressive!

N Smith says:

Great job on the starter and the wasp attack ! I have been fussing about the hot weather for three weeks now and it hasn't helped . I'm ready for fall !

SATAMAN Schmidt says:

You should build a statue to GM and the 3800 motor. If this were on a VAG engine it would have taken two days, you would have needed five special tools and you likely would have needed to remove the front of the car or pull the engine. If only GM still made them like they use to. I wrecked my Grand Prix and needed to buy a new car. Went to GM and hated the Impala and the Malibu only comes with a turbocharged engine which to me is the instrument of the devil. Ended up with a Hyundai Sonata. Nice and the price was right but I'm sure it's going to be a pain in the ass to work on. Hell, you've got to remove twenty bolts and screws just to get the engine diaper off so that you can drain the oil and change the filter. It's going to take me three floor jacks to lift the damn thing to get underneath it. Jacking the car is a nightmare. But don't worry Terry this is progress. Yea, right.

STEVE ROB says:

Nice job buddy , you have the hottest channel on youtube. LOL

Thomas EXOVCDS says:

Ah, the sweet sound of a new starter motor, beer break! I'm so glad we don't have the kind of temperature / heat waves that you guys get… I couldn't take it!

The Disgruntled Mechanic says:

Nice work Terry! Not sure how much on a 1997 lasabre is the same as on a 2000. Think my battery is under the hood.

Thomas EXOVCDS says:

LOL… ROFLMAO! That was a big fly / wasp!!!…. back to the video!
