2008 – 2017 Buick Enclave Torque Strut Mount Replacement

This vehicle has a “clunk” noise and a noticeable shift in the vehicle when accelerating or on harsh shifts. A visual inspection found that the Upper Engine Torque Strut Mount had failed.

This is a common problem on these vehicle and it affects the 2008 – 2017 Buick Enclave, as well as the GMC Acadia and the Chevrolet Traverse.

Thank you for the excellent video. I see some tears in my strut mount so must be it. If it is in neutral it does not make the noise, or in reverse, just in drive while powerbraking

Man.. I did this exactly as to the video, put everything back together making sure all pins and connectors line up and click close… Now chevy traverse starter cranks but will not turn on, again I checked every connector back and forth.. has this ever happen to anybody?
