Umm…I replaced the wheel bearings on my '76 Ford LTD all the time no problems. Takes 15 minutes. THIS is ridiculous! What would possess someone to design something so complicated!?!?!
How do i know my bearings out
Can you pull the roator and brake caliber all off the hub assembly at once just to change the hub?
When I do wheel bearings I also change out the outer tie-rod end it's faster over all it makes doing the bolts easier and only costs 20-25 dollars more plus it's great preventive maintenance. I also use an impact punch to remove the bearing faster, and before assembly and after cleaning use some silicone the unit will go together easier and not "rust either.
Thank you for this video Rick. My friend has a 2005 Buick Century and we followed these instructions 🙂
I didn't know that the Century was very similar to the LeSabre until I had to replace the hub bearing about 3 years ago. LeSabre was a nice car. I saw one in CA: http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/302744046300?roken=cUgayN&soutkn=AufxHH
