Mopardude says:

What primer did you use on that hood that has that shiny of a sheen to it
or is the camera just playing tricks with the light and its not really that
shiny?

James Eggerth says:

The prep work you do now is what makes the paint job… Looking great Pete
!!

PeterQ9406 says:

what primer did you use on your bug?

swrnc says:

@PeterQ9406 I used Matrix Brand–MP3– Highbuild Primer. It’s actually
better then PPG K36 Primer. Pete

Manuel Cerda says:

Pete, you ever use SPI eurethane primer? just wondering how it compares to
the rest and what really is the big differences in brands? shrinkage,
sandability?

Stumpy LawnmowerGuy says:

where’d ya say you got the Scotch Brite red and grey?

loveanianimeme says:

Man i miss Texas, wearing a tshirt in winter, here its 32F and snow,

Jeff Woods says:

@loveanianimeme thats no shit. Its dark cold and about 40 hear in Indy.
sucks big time. Oh well 6 months it will be nice lol.

Rainesblue says:

Scotch brite must pay u good man?

Jeff Woods says:

@swrnc Naw you tell me Pete lol. No I sprayed my rear end in the k-36 for
the 32.I was shocked haw white it was. I will go get some mp3 if its a high
build primer. I used to use Dupont Uro till they stop making the stuff. I
almost bought some Evercoat uro but the low price $100.00 i wonder if its
any good.?idk. Fixing the pits sucked. If i had uro i could of sprayed it
heavy and be done with it. I take your word that the MP3 is good. Thanks
for the info for PeterQ9406 and naw me.

Stumpy LawnmowerGuy says:

gotta love a sharpee laundry marker unless when you forget where ya put the
marker

swrnc says:

@Rainesblue if they only did!

swrnc says:

@Jdakota basically it comes down to this–you get what you pay for, when it
comes to paint supplys, you buy cheap price you get cheap materials plain
and simple,, I never heard of that primer. Pete

RamblinAround says:

Great vid Pete………Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Mopardude says:

@mckinzi1 You can also get them at NAPA and home improvement stores usually
anywhere that has a good selection of sanding type materials.

86camaromike says:

swrnc says:

@mckinzi1 You can purchase them at your local paint and body shop supply
store.. Thanks Pete

Jeff Woods says:

Good luck on the EBAY. Ebay charges you and then Pay Pal bends you over so
jack your prices up. Pete.I got rid of the NOS Camaro quarter. hell cost me
$140.00 shipping on ground lol. It will get to the point its not worth
buying or selling on Ebay.Pain in the ass and people bitch about the price
of shipping. I hope that horn is done lol. good luck and keep up the kick
ass videos. I always love to see whats going on in shops in the USA, other
