I have seen a big block dropped in these cars and I don’t believe there was any special preparation to do so. The engine bays on these old beasts are enormous.
Go to your local paint and body shop supply store and tell them you want the “STRONG” AirCraft stripper, they will know what you mean. It’s in a blue can with red/white letters. Pete
A lot of us out here really appreciate you taking the time to make videos showing how to restore cars. I jumped in over my head on a 1940 oldsmobile and your videos on metal prep have made it fun again. Honestly I can understand why people want to ask you a million questions I could probably think of ten thousand or so my self. Thanks
Thanks Pete for the free fucking advice. It’s very much appreciated.
Oh yeah, i have the same sort of problem as you. Whenever I have dust on my hands it ends up on my face.
Pete….Do you ever use a Heat shrink disc and if so can you maybe post a desciptive vid on it? I hammer and dolly however I am very interested to see YOU do it and optimize on some of my skills.
