My god i thought i was bad. I could see putting a DP epoxy, and a lite coat
of satin paint on the inside. If it was my fender it would get Urathane
truck bed coating on the inside. I could see it if you would crawl
underneath it and see it. The inside would be a more of a bitch then the
outside i guarantee it.I lay money that most cars that run across Barret
Jackson, dont look perfect like inside the doors. That dude must have a
shit load of money. Thats just crazy, but hey i would do it.
Pete, I’ll tell you… all these vids are going to come in really useful
when it comes time to start the bodywork on my ’63 GMC (which will retain a
GMC V6, by the way – a 401M from a ’72 5500-series)! For a daily driver,
would you recommend a single-stage or go with a basecoat/clearcoat? It’ll
be top-notch paint, of course.
That Arthur guy is an extreme perfectionist. Which now is very hard to
find. Most people want drive thru action and you work on their crappy cars
while they sit in it. I really admire you work THE way it should be done…
Hang in there with ol Pete, Trevor. Old people like Pete are stuffed full
of useful information that you’ll be glad you learned, later on in life.
Pete, a little off subject here but can Trevor play that guitar yet? He may
have some mojo that he can share with you.
Poor kid. Let him go out and play.
Reminds me of an Abbott and Costello routine.
