Does this work if my regular ccc unit doesn’t boot? The shop tells me to replace it with a new one but they cost like 1200 they said so I’m tryna upgrade my radio without that oem.
I need the part number to the screws that hold the head unit in place

Love the E90! I’m interested in going for the digital cluster, Is this the Premium Edition cluster? Just wondering what the differences are between the 3 choices? Considering the price jumps are pretty big!

Thank you for the great video. My Z4 E89 Android screen does not respond at all, but the i-Drive works. However, with the i-Drive I cannot go to the apps or settings menus. Is there a solution for it? I would appreciate if you can tell me what to do to fix the issue.

BTW, I resettled the OS via the small reset hole on the system, but that did not fix the issue!
how did you eventually get audio? i find that my XTRONS system only gets audio to the small speaker

Great video. Yes, you should disconnect the battery or the car will throw you errors on the dashboard.
The small speaker is for back camera. It basically uses the speaker and main speakers for it…
When it comes to the headunit, google for a developer code and you'll be able to change the protocol for the stock iDrive mode (if you have problem with it) or you can also change the logo for a M3 one or a Barbus/Alpina/AMG/Volkswagen/Mercedes/Toyota one.
There is also a special option to allow you to watch videos if your handbrake isn't activated. Is probably already deactivated but if not, you know what to do 😉
This can be helpful with the spotify animations on certain songs like "Underwater" by NIVERSO or "Become God" by Ghost Data or even videos on YouTube.
