My vehicle is a 1989 325 IS… The timing belt cover has upper and lower
cover. The lower cover is blocked by the crank pulley and I can’t get to it
even with a low profile socket. I did see that in your video…. maybe
different specs between the 86 and 89 engine… I hope I don’t have to
remove the crank pulley…. that requires specialty tools. Thanks again and
suggestions welcome. I can send you a pic of it if needed.

Nice work – props for one-handed narrative! Quick-question; I hear that
bleeding can be a pain…I’ve just had to do timing belt and heads, of
course, so will need to replace coolant/bleed. Any tips for getting the
air out of the system, as this one is tougher than man american rides to
“burp”. THX!
