Nice job!!!
What have you taken for the dent?
Hi bro can we be a friend
Hey thanks.
You’re incredible. I wish I had your skill set! You’re set for life as long
as they don’t make cars completely out of plastic that is.
Excellent mate, nice to see a dent guy not slagging off other dent guys. I
like the light you use. How long have you been doing PDR?
Nice Job very educational.
Awesome work! So fag just smashed my 335 and I hope my dent guy can do that
work, bc the dent almost the same
nice work
hi Mike how are you? I´m trying to use this tecnic of line board , but it´s
hard to learn . but I will learn of sure. thank you for the video . alex
from Brazil
Hi I’m having trouble making any sort of improvement on dents I have on my
car, although I think I’m moving the metal in the right places it’s still
not making any difference :s ??? Iv also tried heating up the area with no
luck… ??? Any tips?? Ps I’m a beginner using basic dent bars
Nice job. I’m a Dentman in England. It’s good to see some quality work,
there are some crappy so called dent guys out there. Always get a
recommendation.
this is great, good job!@@!
Say Mike, love your work . I’m in L.A and would love to learn this PDR
technique from you…do you guys offer a course? Thanks J
3:02 back and forth you can see the blemish. just sayin’. Good job. Now I
need these tools. I have dents all over my 04 Dodge Dakota with the dark
blue finish. Thanks
Been doing this job 17/18 years now. Top job. The customer sounds very
pleased. Do this for a dealer all they’d say is. Is its better than it was
and you want how much!!!
I had pdr done twice. I may have it done again this week. No question that
in the video it was an excellent job considering it could be corrected
without painting or filler etc. I know what the pdr tech is talking about a
slight blemish in the paint. However when I had a dent in my drivers door
near the bottom possibly from a ball, as it was a baseball size dent; after
pdr some days later in the sunlight I could see a slight blemish in the
paint. Pdr is still the way to go for decent price.
I’ am a 14 year body guy /painter. I was thinking about getting into the
PDR business. what would be the best way to go about it?
How much does a repair like this cost? My m3 has a small dent like this on
the back of a rear wheel arch
i notice u tap down after each push is this 2 loosen dent repair or r u
tapping down micro highs.
So the work you see here .. put simple is your working the valley upwards
and tapping the ridge line down little by little so the final push its
level with the contour on the body nice video
Great work!
a really really great job.
You have inspired me to repair my own dents :). Great work and educational
video.
thank you so much Myke
amaizing work! sr. your a pro. AAA
Good question. I left that out on purpose so I can add that to my dvds but
since you asked, I will say. I started out with a plastic soft tip and then
used a sharp plastic tip to finish. Never causing crack marks or bumps in
the finish. That will be on my downloads soon. Thanks for watching.
I had PDR on my car doors too, it seems to me that the surface is smooth
and flat but I can still see the blemish from certain angle and distance.
Would the blemish completely gone if we repaint the door after PDR ?
Thanks Alex. Good luck to you.
Hello. Who the manufacturer of a lamp?
Nice.
hi mike u did very well no doubt,u r profsnl i need ur advice, can dis
technic do work well on repaint car?? am asking cause company painted cars
are well processed and repaint cars are more close to cracks or rip the
paint wot ur advice.thnx u in advanc
appreciate your candor. you were honest about the difficulty. some dent
guys say they can go 100% on every dent. you dont sensationalize which adds
to your professional personality. Nice repair. crushed body lines are tough!
I’m sure you will get it. Just like anything else, take your time. Slower
is faster.
Well done, great video. The only thing I would be tempted to do is have a
tripod clamp stand for the heat gun to be constantly running.
Compared to what it was, you did an amazing job on it Mike. Keep up the
great work!
So Mike is that little hammering tool thing you do, does that just stretch
the metal and releave it alittle at he same time so it makes it easier to
push back out ???? and great job by the way .
So, those crease dents are pretty much massaging it a little at a time
until you win the battle. Thanks for the info.
Nice repair Mike. From a 15 year tech i’ll tell you that is a difficult
repair. Well done.
Wow. Great vid. How much are those lights and wht is the pen looking unit
you use to hammer. It loooks like it has a light on top?
amazing, you are an artist in metal !
I liked the video. It looks like you were working from a very sharp angle.
I have success with that on roof ribs. Patience pays off.
Xf11 rocksharder… You want pdr training in the Uk…!!! There is only one
master. Aidy Moore at Dentwizard..based near Birmingham.
the leftover blemish like I am not there in person so I can’t see it
upclose but would that which was left over have buffed out with the
compound and polish do you think
Hey Nice Work! Im trying to learn how to do this myself but something im
curious on, what do you use for leverage when your working on a dent like
that? Do you use a leverage hook or something else? Thanks! 🙂
