How To Replace & Reset A BMW Battery

How To Replace & Reset A BMW Battery

So I’m really making this video for the people that are having trouble with their BMWs or Audi’s or any foreign car really. This video will help you save a lot of money because you will be able to fix your own car now also if your car doesn’t start but it has power then it’s probably not your battery check your alternator. Also if your car keeps dying I suggest you just take the blow to the mouth and buy a new battery because the more you jumpstart your car you are risking to fry a module or kill your alternator which then everything will be even more expensive if you have any questions leave a comment down below or you can reach me on Instagram or Snapchat.

So my X5 wouldn’t start & I called a neighbor for a jump but didn’t look up any videos on HOW to do it, the car started but all the gauges don’t. So THEN I started looking for fixes & I vaguely rmbr a vid you did with some ‘module’ that you had blown … where is that video again?? I alrdy pulled the fuses for the OBC & tried to reset with no luck 🙁 my navigation had alrdy been out so I was using the steering column for info, now I don’t even have a gas gauge

My X5 E53 died today at work, won’t jumpstart, gets a little juice to close the windows. It’s 15 years old but looks new. Guess my questions are how do I know for sure it’s my battery and also do you need to pull any fuses before changing the battery out? Thanks.

Just FYI, not every BMW battery is in the same place… mine is all the way to the right behind the right wheel…

Mariodupree says:

Ok so I changed battery on my 2013 X1 before I watched your video. I replaced the negative cable before the positive. Don’t know if that is the reason but now when I crank the car and put it in gear to pull off, it sputters and shuts off. Eventually it will stop and I can pull off and leave. Did I fuk up?

93 Gz says:

So if it’s the same exact battery i won’t have to register the battery to my car ? For a 2011 BMW X5 ?

Believe 3.0 says:

My battery is under the hood. What kind of battery do you buy? What do you mean you need to register the battery?
