I have come across people trying to upgrade the lights by fitting higer
wattage bulb, the thin wires on the new looms can’t take it they fry, some
have tried the crematic holders they do not work, the wires still cook due
to current, as far as I can see only two way’s your way or buying a £40,00
upgrade bulb with the lower wattage, not impressive lights for a bike of
that caliber some cars have same problem.

With my RTP, I was able to install without removal of fairing. Took some
patience, but would have taken longer to remove RTP crash bar and fairing.
Running a 5000K 35W kit. Light is much better, but for wet roads at night,
I’ll switch on the 2 x H3 55W fogs as well
