Caroline Dordolo says:

took company car to get a headlight replaced. They told me it needed a new
ballast. Thinking the problem was fixed, today, 3 months later my
headlight is out and burned. So I took everything apart myself and now I
am thinking that they never replaced the bulb because the bulb is one of
those expensive ones I’ve seen on the iinternet for around 225. Did they
really replace the ballast?

Hey,

Yesterday I installed my Xenon HID including this Warning Cancellers or
Capacitors on my E90 2006. But I still have the Error on the dash. There is
no flickering, just the error code on the dash. How could I solve this
problem. Maybe somebody installed a Kit on a BMW E90 which is working fine?

Best regards

StealthAuto says:

@lasthumain Hey, For your Xc90 you will need a H11 bulb for the low beam,
we carry that bulb and full kit. give us a call or go onto our site to
check it out.

tranhu1 says:

2011 ford fusion, got a small flickering problem and occasional radio
static, also I was driving and one side shut off and the other side worked
perfectly, put both on after I got out of the store the opposite one that
was working before shut off and the one that wasn’t working before was
working okay, shut both off again and both are on no problem, what could it
be? Ballast or rainy weather, I’m not sure, thanks.

Donald Farber says:

Nice way to show how to install a Hid/xenon kit into car.

veselic1993 says:

Your explanation was perfect.. it’s help me a lot.. thank you grat job 🙂

sam ch says:

Hi do you have something for Volvo Xc90 2005?

StealthAuto says:

@V8AmericanMuscle I would think its probably a ballast issue, typically if
its a computer problem it will cut power to both lights and flicker them
both at the same time. I would try swapping the ballast from one side to
another, I know you said that both sides exhibited the same problem but
just see if it helps.

passenger HID light stays on but then turns off later. The driver one
doesnt turn on all the time when i turn the headlights on. it does go on
for like 1 second then turns off. if it does turn on itll flicker then turn
off. HELP!

do you recomend installing an hid on a vehicle with a non-projector lamp?

Joseph Nshiewat says:

I have a 2004 Saab 9-3, and it comes with stock bulbs (no HID kit
installed), would this work the same with the wiring? Do I have to splice
any wires? I have H7 low beam bulbs.

djrobovw1 says:

I don’t, I asked same question, you do need the projector lamps

StealthAuto says:

@willyyhoo I would suggest you try the anti flicker capacitors, give them a
shot and see what happens.

Bryan Nguyen says:

I have 2006 BMW 325i. I gets flickering and error code on dash after
installing H7 HID VVME kit. So I need these HID canceller to solve the
problem right? And the question is should I choose the HID canceller 9-16v
or 9-32v Thanks

Will Ho says:

@StealthAuto any idea which companys are good to use or a link? haha thank
you btw it was bothering me for a while

StealthAuto says:

@V8AmericanMuscle My opinion would be that the ballast are most probably
faulty. Also if you are seeing issues like this only on rainy days there is
something wrong, your entire system should be waterproof and it should not
allow water to get into the wiring harness.

StealthAuto says:

@SuperHawaiian93 It’s a anti flicker capacitor, if your headlights start
flickering or giving errors on your dash you can install these and they
will get rid of those issues.

StealthAuto says:

@ironass08 Hello, With the newer vehicles we always recommend purchasing
the Anti-Flicker capacitors, and if you end up not needing them you can
always return them for a full refund, we do not charge restocking fee’s.
