The equal length midpipe from @TheActiveAutowerke really is a gorgeous piece of automotive engineering! When I was given a chance to install one into my car, I leapt at the opportunity even though I already had the excellent single channel installed. BOTH options are very good, but provide different sound characteristics for sure.

I wanted to share the full install DIY so you can easily do this yourself!

This is a job you can easily do yourself, and I strongly encourage you to upgrade from the OEM setup to this quality sound!

Required parts and tools:
Active Autowerke EL midpipe for the M2C

11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 16mm and wrench
Socket extensions
socket wobble
E10 torx socket
T6 allen socket
jack and stands (or quickjacks)
hose clamp
Sawzall with metal blade or other pipe cutting tool
Torque wrench

Torque Values
11mm nuts – 19nm
E10 bolts – 28nm
T6 allen bolts – 24nm
13mm nuts (red and black hangers) – 19nm

If you wanted to replace 11mm nuts and gaskets
11mm nuts (4) – 18307597650
gaskets (2) – 18307851168
