BMW e90 2007 335i Ballast Replacement DIY

Here’s a quick DIY on how to replace your ballast in your e90. Mine is a 2007 335i. Here’s the link where I purchased the ballast: http://amzn.to/2vTyhq6 Let me know if you guys have any questions. It’s a pretty easy job and will save you a bunch of money at the stealership. 🙂 Good luck!

Before you do this job, you probably already tried replacing your HID bulbs, but if you haven’t done that, you should probably start there. Here’s my DIY vid on how to do that:

How has the after market ballast held up? Shop is charging 500 for one. Thinking about getting the eBay one now.

Just replaced my halo lights and headlights on my 2008 E90 335i sedan and my passenger low beam works some days and then randomly turns off so you think it's because of my ballester ? That's the reason why I replaced my headlights in the first place because of the same reason of working whenever it wanted to.

dreezy franklin says:

hopefully my ballast isnt the problem. my aftermarket angel eyes and blinkers are still working in my headlight, does the ballast control that or just the low beams?

Seth Davis says:

hello I have a 2009 335i and my bulb is pointed down to the ground . I was wondering if changing the ballast would fix that ?
