I order from Rockauto

I will always remember my AMC Concord (4.0 liter I-6). You didn't have to get under the car to change the oil-filter and drain plug were accessible from above (lean down); I could change my oil in 16 minutes.

Hi Justin, i just did my own oil change and it was the first time i’ve ever done one. pretty easy, i spent 65 dollars on:
$12 filter wrench
$10 filter
$32 5 qts oil
$9 1 qt

turned out to be like $65 dollars but i won’t have to buy an oil wrench next time.

thanks for the videos! won’t be paying $100+ for an oil change!

I buy $47 of 10 qt of Pennzoil LLO4 certified oil. Save 2 qt every oil change. On 4th oil change you have 8 qt so I get a free oil change. Oil Filter is $13 on ebay. I pay mechanic $25 for the service to get his hands dirty and dispose of the used oil.
$85 is my max budget on oil change every 4500 mi on my bmw. It works very well. Dont go to stealer ships.

$22-26 for five quarts Mobil One European Blend and a couple quarts of 0W-40 for $5.99-7.99 at Walmart. The filters can be purchased through Amazon or Ebay for $7-11. The O-rings for the filter can also be purchased on line for a few dollars if needed. Castrol has an A3-B4 European blend 5W-40 for a few dollars more a quart. The copper crush washers on the drain plug usually come with the filter. A magnetic drain plug is $5 online if you want one of those. The Indy down the street charges $125 covering his ass with BMW oil and the dealer charges around $400. It doesn't take long, but you do have to jack up a low lying car. Always check the torque ratings on the drain plug (18 ft. lbs.?) Doesn't take much at all. You have to have a 32mm wrench (or adjustable equivalent) to remove and replace the plastic oil filter housing cap which I believe is also about 18 ft. lbs. to tighten.

I definitely change my own oil, and I find it easier to change the oil on bmw than my old car Pontiac grand prix.
I buy the bmw oil filter from dealership[$18] and $40 for royal purple.

52 not bad and it last longer than a 20 dollar conventional so it's the same
