since you did like a 100 of these, how long are you taking to do one turbo in hours
use a bolt with 2 nuts and a 13/16 socket to press the bushing out wish it would work to install the new ones
So is this a temporary fix?
i have the same problem with my big Turbo but on 535D. on the big switching flap.

Can anyone tell me if the turbos on the e90 335i N54 is different than the pair found on the e60 535i? I can't believe no one has a straight answer…and if they are different, what is the difference? Thanks

I've done the wastegate fix, thanks. I have a question about the position when reassembling. Does the wastegate close under boost? I tightened the arm to the closed position then realized that the actuator only pulls but does not push.
Hi I work on European cars and I'm starting to hear issues with N54 engines but what I'm more familiar with is the turbocharger for the gen 2 Audi A 4 or the A5 or the Q5 it seems like they have the same failure I was wondering can you get the same part that you replaced but for let's say a 2009 Audi A4 with the 2.0 litre turbo engine I think the Turbo is made by IHI but nor sure I know it's not a KKK or Borg & Wagner let me know if you can get the part or the complete turbine housing .

What size drill bit did you use to drill out the bushing pin?

the ones on my car are bad….. the rear i think is open and not closing no more since i have a very bad lost of power and that rattle sound when i accelerate in idle.

I like this project, but I have the same question that how much should I pay for taking off of my turbos and put them back on? Does anybody has experience with that?
