How To Install Audi A4/S4 LED Fog Lights (DRAGON LEDZ!)

How To Install Audi A4/S4 LED Fog Lights (DRAGON LEDZ!)

How to install LED fog lights on your (2009-2012) B8 A4/S4 Audi! This is a very simple job to do and only requires a T25 Torx screw driver.

You can pull your fog light grills directly off of the front bumper to access the two T25 torx screws on each fog light housing. Once they are free, you can pull the fog light from the front bumper and twist to release the bulb.

These LED fog lights in this video are the Grand Turismo series fog lights from DRAGON LEDZ!

These LED fog lights come with a huge heat sink and fan on the back, plus a ballast to run the ultra bright chips! 3250 raw lumens per bulb!

Thanks for watching!

Nice video.  I have a 2009 A4 Quattro.  Car is equipped with front/rear fog lights.  I recently had a burned out tail light, replaced it.  Had a burned out low beam, replaced both.  My lamp malfunction light still stays on.  I noticed when I pressed the rear fog lights, nothing comes on in the back.  Do you know if the rear backup light is supposed to be the fog light too?  When I removed the brake light and taillight assemblies, replaced all the bulbs.  On my Audi, brake lights consist of one bulb with the turning signal bulb.  Then the reverse lights and lights when headlights are turned on there are three bulbs to each assembly.  Perhaps I'm missing something here?  Honestly I never know until recently I had rear fog lights, so trying to figure out it that is the reason my lamp indicator light stays on.  Just curious if you ran into the same problem with your Audi.

Embrace Racing says:

Note that in this video I removed a previous LED bulb that I was using. If you still have the OEM halogens you will disconnect them the same way, but there will be no extra wire lead from the stock connector to your bulb. The OEM harness plugs directly into the back of the Halogen bulb. A small detail, but worth mentioning if you take yours apart and it doesn't look exactly the same as mine 🙂

Also, I refer to the new LEDs as having a ballast, when it is more correctly called a driver. This driver is a constant current regulator that contains anti-interference tech to prevent interference with other nearby 12VDC electronics.
