How to Install a Rear Sway Bar on an Audi S3

Thanks for dropping by my channel and checking out another DIY, compliments of Peter, The Audi S3 Fanatic!
It’s been a few weeks since I uploaded a DIY as I was in the process of relocating my family from Seattle to sunny Southern California. All you SoCal S3 Fanatics, make sure to wave at me if we cross paths.
Today’s DIY will cover how to install a Rear Sway Bar (RSB) onto your S3. The project isn’t too difficult; you will need a set of triple squares. If you have any questions or comments, make sure to post below and I’ll do my best to help you’ll out!
As always, if you enjoy my videos, go ahead and Share, LIKE! and Subscribe. Thanks for the support!

Ray Be kind to others, it goes a long way says:

Hi Peter!

Did you preload the wheels at the same time or one at a time. I think one at a time is fine but am not sure.

Thanks boss.

Mark Buxton says:

Hey if you do sway bar should do links as same time as they are Plastic links

notthatguy12 says:

I’m not sure what year S3 you have but my 2015 has the auto levelers on both sides. Also, my endlinks cannot be removed. There is no triple square to hold to remove it. You have to replace the endlinks if you install an aftermarket swaybar.

Arturo says:

Hello, Peter. How do you like the sway bar? What should I do first between the sway bar or coils? Btw, how do you like your Bilstein?

Ajna S says:

The only video so far that I've seen done right with compressing the suspension. How much pre load on the wheels is sufficient? I'm thinking 1 1/2 -2 inches?

Rob L. says:

I upgraded to a 034 RSB and Whiteline end links within the first few weeks of getting my 2018 S3.
Took much of the understeer out of the stock setup.
