You can still fit it through. Just takes a little more effort.
At 3:47 the rubber grommet has a brake line in it… What do I do?
thank’s for video!!! really good video!!! P/s: Hi from Kazakhstan!!!
Yes.
Will this installation work wit the b7
Sorry at the current time the ECS pod is only avaible in black.
Do you by chance make one in tan?
And lastly (I’m assuming this has nothing to do with the Gauge itself)
But i have a stage 1 2004 B6 A4 Automatic and the boost is only showing a max of 14psi (I’m told it should be around 21psi.) Is it possible that i left the plastic tubing underneath the steering column to long so it is reading the boost pressure wrong? Or might this be a mechanical issue?
I just finished installing this boost gauge kit. It looks Fantastic, But there are two main concerns i have with it. One is that in this installation video you do not use all the parts givin to me in the install kit, I have a whole grouping of it looks like rubber hosing left over, What is this for?
Secondly, The gauge isint secured by anything in the vent pod, It moves freely to the right because of the wires pulling on it from behind…
Yes. Pretty much all boost gauge installations are similar.
No, the gauge will work as long as the vehicle is on. Although you’ll need your lights on to turn the lights on this gauge on.
Can I follow this video to install this Gauge or do I have to do something different? Mfg Part# VD0BGKT
ECS Part# ES#4673
do you have to have the lights on for the gauge to work?
We do! For over seas shipping quotes just change the country code in the cart and enter your postal code!
I live in the uk. Do you ship overseas?
Jay chou you a dumb ass
Should be the same way for either manual or automatic.
How do you send the wires into the cabin if the car is a manual? The instruction here is for an automatic I believe.
ECSTuning = Best FN’ How-To videos EVER ! Thanks guys for all those informations you guys are putting here !
Thanks for the video and congrats for the initiative. The web’s full of random shops selling random cheap stuff with no directions on how to install the parts.
Nice
We find the method shown in the video to be easier than the alternative.
why fo through the effort of pluming the pipe in from the engine bay?isnt it easier to install the sensor in the engine bay?
Do one for the MK5 Jetta!
