What is that meant to protect? It covers such a small area and any rocks coming at you can just as easily hit your side, front, or top. If a rock got up in your wheel base not much is gonna happen unless it was big enough that you could see it to avoid it. I have had many small rocks get up into the wheel well of my car and not one of them was big enough that it could even scratch the wheel well plastic liner. Just genuinely curious as to what that's trying to stop.
