Battery Replacement on Audi A4 B6 .How to remove and replace the Battery AUDI A4 B6
We took this video to show you how to remove and replace the battery on Audi A4 B6. It is not as easy as some cars because the battery is placed at a very unusual place compared to other vehicles and there is very limited room.
You should be able to do it yourself in less than 10 minutes.
Never leave the keys inside the car because when you install the new battery the car will lock itself sometimes. Always have the windows open or the keys outside.
This procedure should work on both the 1.8t and the 3.0

Completely remove negative cable first before doing ANYTHING.
do u have to reprogram the car computer because that what they told me at outzone is that true

I own an A4…..I'm also an engineer, and I'm just going to pay the money, have a service, and get them to clean under the battery tray – I refuse to go through all this messing around with stupid bolts you can't see

what does the vent wire on the side of the battery connect to? and what happens if you do not connect it?
Actually I had the factory battery from Audi. The tube was the vent tube, I found an equivalent battery at autozone that had the same connection and replaced it!!! Your video was a huge help. Thanks again!!!
I have a wire connected to the right side of the battery. What do I do about that?
