Coolant in the oil due to failing PCV Valve. Oil and cooling mixed is never a good thing. A common issue on this 3.0t supercharged S4 engine is a failing PCV valve. The Plastic Audi PCV has coolant passage. When the PCV Fails coolant can mix into the oil. #shorts #shortsvideo #humblemechanic #audi

That’s the biggest pcv valve I’ve ever seen
It just happens to mine so I would like to know
Are the engines still realible afther something like that happens
Hey humble mechanic great video, do you know if the 3.0 tdi engines have that style pcv valve. I'm asking because someone told me diesel engines dont use pcv valves.
Could also be the supercharger coolers
What about the bearings, damaged from the coolant in the oil???
What is the final solution to this german problem?
That beard was played out 6 years ago bro.
Not good ! @maniacal s10
Dose everything vw makes have such bad problems I have Ben working on a vw gti r32 and it's one of the worst cars I have ever worked on the car only has 60,000 kilometers and it alredy needed a rear mane seal a pcv a turbo valve a turbo a Head gasket water pump and mane bearings just because the tarible design of vw yeah I am getting paid but gees what a pece of crap I gess that vw made it so I can get paid I will never own a German car maby a mercedes or a old bmw e30 or e35 if vw made parts made of metal thay would not fail as much but I doubt it. Most german cars deathly look good but are the most unreliable pieces of junk on the road I haven't worked on one manufacturer so much I never see Hondas or toyotas for anything serious just brakes and oil and the occasional control alarms maintenance stuff but everything european I get is engine replacements transmission replacements engine rebuilds suspension rebuilds interior headliners electrical problems can bus communication problems none stop vacuum leaks and so much more I get paid for it and have had Is customers just leave their cars at the shop and have us scrap them like this vw r32 I almost garintee this customer will scrap it like the audi rs4 I just scraped it was just not worth fixing the estimate was $12,000 and that was the cheapest estimate we also scraped a mk4 r32 and a mk5 r32 just we just have to get rid of them at the shop we simply don't have space to spare if we can't sell it with in 2 months we get rid of it threw actions or scrap yards
Well thank goodness for my preventative 100k cooling system refresh I always do
Terrible design.
So glad I have the 2.0L 4 Cyl in my A4. The PCV valve went bad on it a year or so ago. Ordered one off Amazon, replaced the old one (right on top of valve cover) and worked like a charm. No coolant passages or silly engineering that would cause a failure of a pretty minor part to let coolant into the oil and ruin an engine. Engineers VS mechanics will be a war fought for eternity.
Was there some kind of reason for coolant to integrate with the PCV ?
I have legit never heard of that before.
I can't think of a single good thing that could ever come from that.
So, was the engine saved? Or not?
Please turn up your mic!
As I walk thru the valley of the shadow of superchargers, I fear no coolant in my oil as I watch Humble mechanic on how to fix….
I'll take let's engineer more ways to have coolant mix with oil for 750, Alex.
Oh yeah, cause German engineering is SO superior
Bin it,it's an Audi
WHAT A DISASTER OF A CAR…
