This video will show you how to replace the right passenger side window regulator and motor commonly found on 04′ – 08′ Acura TL’s. This video reflects the 2nd replacement job I’ve performed on the TL (on the front passenger side door). In both cases, the motor cable became entangles inside the window motor reel. To perform this repair fast and easy, I recommend you get the regulator and motor assembly as one unit in lieu of just the regulator on the hopes that the motor can be transferred. No specialty tools required to perform this repair.

Hey, I replaced my driver side window regulator the other day, i didn't have power in my car because short story don't ever boost anyone's car they are selfish and dumb and will fry your tiny expensive electronics, and if forgot to unplug my battery. So the next day i started driving, window worked except for the auto feature( you know you hit the button once fully does the window up). When i hit the button than remove my finger it goes up hits the top than comes back down 2 inches however holding the button works. Any idea the quick fix? I'm assuming the unit sits too high maybe by 1/8" and when it hits the top for safety measures drops back down thinking an object is in the way or something of that sort

I found out that you can buy around 25 of those white clips that hold that cable onto the inside door handle for like 4 bucks on ebay with free shipping. They are shipped from China so it might take a couple of weeks. They tend to break so it might be a good idea to have some on hand. I just did my regulator a week ago.
