Acura wanted to charge me over $100 bucks to execute an easy install. I
found this filter on-line for less than $20. After I saw the Youtube, I
made up my mind that I could this myself. I can’t wait to go to the Acura
Dealer and get a good report on Cabin Filter, great video.

Could a person who doesn’t care much about breathing filtered air over
fresh air from outside just remove the filter?

THANK YOU!!!!! I read a user’s manual and it “suggests” to contact a dealer
for filter replacement. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Does Acura ownership makes me an

insult consumers.

You just saved me $80. I couldn’t believe the dealer wanted $100 for a 5

Just squeeze the ends of the glove compartment. There should be 2 tabs

I really appreciate you taking the time to share your knowledge with the
masses. God knows these vehicles are expensive enough, anything we can do
to save money in maintenance is well worth it!! I’ll be watching out for
more tips 🙂

Dealers will charge around $100 for doing this. In this economy, your video
helped my family eat dinner for a couple weeks. 🙂

Just a note, changing the pollen filter on the second generation MDX is a
lot easier than the 1st Gen MDX. The first gen needs to remove lots of
panels before you can even get to the filter. Definitely an improvement on
the 2nd gen MDX.
