Used to have a Land Rover with a slow battery drain. Never could find the culprit so I put in a marine battery & never had an issue.

It’s got a 4 year old battery? The 9/16 green sticker? My Audi Q7 drove me nuts with codes until I bought a new battery. Stopped with frivolous codes instantly. If the battery management computer ain’t happy the ECM ain’t happy. At least for Audis.

Scotty, if I had a car that did that to me, I'd sell it.

He should hook up an actual electrical disconnect switch instead.

I see a bunch of people pointing out that it's the HFL/Bluetooth module for this car. Stuff like that, especially electrical and electronic stuff, Google really is a legitimately useful tool, as cars tend to develop the same problems these days. While I used to actually fix cars for a living, though my years and experience were limited, but seeing common problems discussed online has come in handy on more than one occasion. Just seeing the anecdotal reports is as useful, or even more useful in some cases, than the OBD2 scan tool. And I think a lot of professionals have become so reliant on trouble codes and I understand that thinking as I've been there, and I think it's easy to forget that you can learn a lot from a good internet search. My Mustang, for example, likes to throw cam sensor codes, and the shop I go to when I can't or don't want to work on it myself changed the sensors, but it didn't fix the problem. In that case, it turns out it's a false code by an alternator going bad(but still charging). I found that out because many others had the problem and went through major hassles to get it fixed, but their experience saved me tons of headaches. I mentioned it to the mechanic who changed my cam sensors, but I don't think he gets any other Mustangs in his shop, so I don't know if he ever sees that problem anymore. So to anyone troubleshooting something like this, a good internet search can be the most powerful resource available, and at worst, it doesn't hurt to give that a shot. I've successfully diagnosed several tough issues that way.
