Great video and excellent explanation of everything. I have a 3G TL but I think the principles still apply. Thanks!

Hey love the video as I watched it as often as possible to for when I do this job.

But a quick question, where is the PCV valve located in this version of the J-series engine for this generation TL?

Je Cur says:

Well done video. A very good description on all of the step by step actions (and the reason behind them). I may end up getting some Milwaukee tools.. I really like the professional touches like using the dental mirror to check that the gaskets did not slide out. Thank you very much- very informative. Owner: 2009 TL 3.5 with 100,485 miles. I look forward to more videos like this–can't find much on 4th gen TL. This is much welcomed.

Bro is this a paid advertisement for Milwaukee, sounds like you're hard up for Mikwaukee. You must have said their name like 10 times. I'm gonna use my Milwaukee back scratcher M765 now….

I have a 2007 Acura RL (J35A8 V6) with 211k miles. I had the valve cover gaskets done 20k miles ago and the front one is leaking now and the rear is ok. I've moved to a different state so I can't take it back to that dealer.
Can I get away with doing just the front gasket or should I replace both?

Jay Lopez says:

We get it….Milwaukee pays you for endorsements…lol

Viktor Morgan says:

100% same process with 3.7 SH-AWD

StJohns River66 says:

Thank you . I am helping a family member get their car on the go and I am not accustomed to working on these engines. I want that Milwaukee lol..

Ronnie Shih says:

I'm surprised you did not have problems seating the valve cover back on fitting the new spark plug tube seals over the tubes. I had some difficulties with this. The tube seal would deform and not go around the tubes, I had to run my fingers around the tube to make them go over the tubes.

Very nice, I've never seen a video like this concerning the 4th-Gen Acura TL.

Bless.
