Don't think I'd allow the car to run when disconnecting the battery. Could ruin the alternator.

my positive terminal didn't want to stay on. it easily slips off now.

a mechanic told me i might have over-tightened? i'm hopeful it doesn't slip off while i drive. the negative was insanely tight, and the positive isn't, weird.
