My gas pedal quits working and my check engine light keeps coming on with this code. I replaced the sensor twice this week with a genuine honda sensor ($234 through amazon) and the car is still doing the same shit. Please let me know what the next step is. Getting code P2138. I have a 08 tsx the other day the car was running good and suddenly the emission light came on and the vsa light with it should I replace the app sensor ? And the idle don’t want to pass 5000 rpm
Can this fix my problem on an Acura tl 2006 ?It runs good but suddenly vsa lights goes on & accelerator doesn't response properly no more.i have to turn it on & off to get it going.please let me to fix it asap.
After replacing this unit it still didn’t solve my issue, i bought the whole of autozone and other used parts and still not luck I was close to giving up until I tried the last dice and voila it was another switch that solved my issue.
Fixed limp mode on my 2006 TL. Struggle with it for a year, runs perfect. Thank you!
I have a tsx and I had the lights come on and had that code and my car was over rev and turned off the car then turned it back on and the car was fine and all the vsa light went away. It happens in the summer haven’t had that problem all winter my question is should I change this sensor ? But when I come up to a stop or start the car idles jacked up over revs a little.
Do the 4th gen have this same set up
Hey my car is not passing 5500 rpm while driving it does like when our cars are in park and u rev it until 5000 rpm but mine is doing it while driving at 5500 i got no engine light or any other problem you think could be this sensor

Do you replace the apps,because you get a P2138 code?
