Another solid video. I changed mine today because I heard it might help with a rear main seal leak. To my surprise it improved my gas mileage from 24 hwy to 27. We'll see about the rear main seal but with the improved gas mileage it's a win already.
I replaced valve cover gaskets on my 05 TL. Next day I see oil leaking from the pcv valve. It took over an hour to pull it out. Piece by piece, it kept crumbling. Finally got it all out except for a very small piece of plastic fell through the hole. I put the new one in and replaced a hose that goes to the plenum. Drives great now.
can you clean out the hole that the valve goes into?
paid $47 at honda dealer in north jersey. criminals.
$80 bucks just for changing that? No wonder they are called “the Stealership”!

Is there supposed to be oil in the pcv valve? I replaced mine but still getting oil in it.
Thanks for sharing, mine was on its way out. I also noticed you didn't had a plastic piece falling out of part where a 10mm screw goes. Anyways actually Acura dealer charged me 36$ for this part.

Hello. I have a 2006 Odyssey. I tried removing the pcv valve, but the end tip of it broke inside the engine. Any idea how I can remove it?
I'm getting around 17 in the city and 22 on highway. And I have a oil burning issue. About half a quart every oil change. I know it will help oil consumption, but what about MPGs?
Big Dawg! Quick question….I got a wee bit of movement on the pcv valve. i feel the bolt is bottomed out already…I dont want to over torque and break it. Any suggestions?
my 06 TL has been making a whistling like noise, when i pull out the dipstick it relieves pressure and stops making the noise until its put back in. i changed the pcv valve because it was clogged for the most part but it didnt solve my problem any ideas?
