Do you need to disconnect the battery before you start this job?

What’s up bro Ik this video is old but considering you’re the TL expert I figured I’d ask you. I recently bought an 06 TL and whenever it rains/ fresh out the car wash my car won’t turn over. Like it’ll try and start but won’t actually fire. Any ideas as to what it could be? Whenever I check the terminals they’re all dry and I don’t see anything electrical wet but honestly I don’t look very hard. Any ideas bro?

Hey what size did you say the torx was 40?
