Thanks for sharing the video. It is very helpful. By the way, you don't need to spend the $20 for the replacement part. Instead, just solder the two "present" pin together. The car will always assume the Aux port is plugged in. (Photo for which pins to solder, https://photos.app.goo.gl/d6PwKvADPsCJEvNq5)

You got the job done but that's not the way to fix things, next time use flat screw drive to slack and pull it from sides and it will come out neatly without breakage.
