HOW TO | Acura TSX | Replace Front Wheel Bearing

In this video I show you how I changed the front wheel bearings on my 2005 Acura TSX. This is definitely not an easy job to do. Give yourself plenty of time, take breaks, and increase focus by eliminating distractions. Timken makes the OEM wheel bearings for this car. Timken used to manufacture in the USA, now they make the bearings in Korea. You can buy the wheel bearings from amazon, partsgeek, autozone, and many other places online. The wheel hubs should come with new spindle nuts. It is recommended to use a new spindle nut when you replace the wheel bearings. The metal cutting discs that come free with the rotary tool break easily but if you are careful it still works (as shown in the video). I would buy some better cutting discs as backup. I purchased the bearing press kit for $130 and it has since gone up in price, but I found a cheaper one with great reviews and listed it below in the product links. To help remove the old bearing, spray it with PB blaster before pressing it out.

***An easier way to separate the hub from the bearing is through the use of a hub puller. You can use it after you remove the rotor (while the axle is still in the hub). Link to hub puller below.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. It is a small amount and does not cost you anything. It helps link you to the products I use/recommend and It also helps me continue making videos on my channel. Thank you for your support!

One , if not , the best diy video I have ever seen. I subscribed! Thanks for this. I've been working on cars for 15 years plus but I changed careers. So I'll just go with changing the whole assembly instead of only the bearing lol
