The “MAIN” button in your glovebox turns off the trunk release switch under
the left hand side of the steering wheel. This prevents a Valet parking
attendant from gaining access to your trunk. You must be sure to lock both
your glovebox and the rear seat passthrough to the trunk, as well as leave
him with the valet key only.

minutes and I saved $40 over what Midas wanted to charge. Does anyone know
what the switch is in the glove box that says ‘Main”?

it should be changed annually, it also depends on area that you live in,
should be changed along with AC service on all cars
