Acura Integra Wheel Bearing Replacement

Acura Integra Wheel Bearing Replacement

This was a painful experience.. I can swap an engine with less effort than cranking down that dang bearing lol my back was completely broken. I’m too old for this now lol. The car drives so much more smooth.. if you have any weird road noise, I highly suggest you check your bearings!! I actually had road noise for about 8k miles!! Just until recently it got worse… now I have no road noise everything is smooth.

I couldn’t use the impact wrench because I didn’t have a big enough socket.. the 32mm socket was too small

And yes my shoe was literally on fire 👞 🔥

And yes… I know.. I use a lot of wrong words when describing something but you get what I mean lol

Alfred Gregg says:

Holy SHIT dude. Did anyone tell you that you're a f**** boss for doing this in a f**** parking garage and a f**** inverter!? I've been debating taking this on for a day and a half and if you can do this in a damn parking garage, I sure as hell should be able to do it in my garage. Thanks man.

tytuphon says:

Me and my friend did the same exact thing with the saw, its literally the only way to get the old wheel bearing to come off

tytuphon says:

Shit taking out the wheel bearing and replacing it on the teggy is a fucking bitch. Sometimes that shit just doesnt want to pry out

Athao Thao says:

nice integra dc2 wheeel bearing

Sean Fulton says:

Yeah this is why I take my knuckle off of the car and have a local shop press the bearing in and ill put it back together myself. Worth $40 all day rather than trying to press bearings in and out myself with no press.

DB8 Dante says:

I did my rear wheel bearings DIY, but i didnt attempt the front. I pulled the knuckles off the car and took it to a shop with the new bearings and just let them do it. I'm kinda glad i did now lol

NinjaxBart says:

Looks like a huge pita but nice job man haha

Jesse Lee says:

It would be way easier if you install the spindle back on the car after hammering out the hub, then use the tool to take it out, so the spindle doesn't move when installing the new one. LESS STRESS

Ek Hatch says:

Might as well whack the lower ball joint out and replace that too since you are at it, nice video I need to do my wheel bearings too…. Waiting for the kit to come in seems like a headache some people could get off the race without cutting into it
