Clean, non offensive English and thorough descriptions. Superb video tutorial. Thank you!
the music is so annoying and not needed… it drowns you out.
Thanks for the video. I used it to help a buddy change the struts on his RL.
One tip I can offer is to disconnect the end link from the lower control arm to make it easier to lower the suspension. Also turn the steering wheel full clockwise to make room for the strut assembly to come out.
Good video and explanation. The only thing is the music is loud in the moments you are not talking. I usually watch video in the evening and had to make the volume 12% because of the music. Quick question: how long with normal driving original struts can/may last on the RL?
I would highly recommend paying $25 ish or whatever it costs to have a shop swap over the coil spring to the new strut. Trust me. Well worth it. Also with the strut tower cross brace. Very strongly recommended that you DO NOT touch nor move the vehicle other than the strut until the new struts are installed and semi tightened. The book may not say it but I would consider the cross brace a structural component and slightest bit of flex could warp the entire frame……especially the unibody frames. Probably won’t but why risk it.
I think I've seen you in Mobile.
My 2015 Acura is a lusy ride, I feel all the bumps. Im a retired Firemen with a bad back. Any suggestion on Rear Struft replacement?? I find nothing.
Good information! Helpful, thank you. Spend less time on music, and more on pointing at parts in narration. Plus, get a little tripod so you don't always need to be holding camera.
What shocks did you use on the car?
Amazing Content my friend Keep up the good work watched in full. Check out my latest when you get the chance thank you so much.
