This is a step-by-step video tutorial on how to replace the car battery on your 2016 Acura RDX with either the Technology or Advance Package. Difficulty level for this DIY project is on the easy side, as long as you have the right tools and the time. When do you normally replace your car battery and what is the average life span? What causes the car battery to fail? We will go over all of that in this video.

The tools I used in in this video are listed in the video and I will also list them below as well.

* Duralast Car Battery (Model # 24F-DL) .. can be purchased at your local AutoZone store.
* 10mm Crescent Wrench
* 10mm Socket and Socket Wrench
* AGS Battery Terminal and Cable Protector (Di-Electric Grease) .. can be purchased at your local AutoZone store as well.
* Wire Brush and/or Battery Terminal Wire Brush

Please Note: For those with the Tech or Advance Package with Navigation Systems, if your audio system is locked out and requires you to enter in a security code and you have tried to automatically enter it by pressing and holding the audio power button for two seconds or if you have forgotten your security code, then you can try to obtain the code from the Acura Owners website listed below:

Your alternative solution would be to contact your local Acura Dealership to obtain the security code from them.
