I don't know about this vintage but older Tl's have this big intake resonator under the air filter housing. I took mine out a few years ago, sounds mean like a CAI, plus you can keep the stock airfilter, and it's still getting air from the same place not hot air. And it's free. Haven't noticed any difference in power or running but lower gas mileage because it's fun to hit vtec yo.
Did you reprogram the cars computer to work with that intake ?
Fail, now you have a hot air intake, factory air boxes pull in cold air from outside the engine bay, plus those open filters like k&n let dirt into your maf sensor
Look like trash, you mush not care anything about the acura tl.
Replacing a factory air intake system with a short ram will only make your car lose horsepower

Why dont u just use the stock flex tubing that already has the hole for sensor. And clamp other other flex tube with a 3 inch aluminum tube into the air filter?
Well that extra power mess with transmission.
