Joseph Foley says:

Hey, Eric. What's the point of repairing the Hands Free Link (besides not draining your battery)? The phones today are not compatible, right and beyond using hands free talking, the functions are rather limited? So, what functionality does a working Hands Free Link add to the ride?

Oso Pena says:

08 mdx I cannot locate my hfl

W Johnson says:

I think I had the longest lasting HFL unit… then it died last week. No power drain issues, just a dead unit. Probably not worth replacing when I can chunk in my Echo Auto for 10% of the price.

dest151 says:

Great video ..I'm not going to even bother with it…I had enough problems when I got the car ( 99% of the problems now fixed) that I need some bluetooth car thing to work .. I have ear pods and that works for me

Larry Chagolla says:

Hey Eric would you happen to know the code for radio for 2008 Acura TL, or are they all different, let me know ok Appreciate it

postal29 says:

I have a 2007 TL Type-S with 46,000 miles. I've never had a car with so many problems. Just had a claim with Acura for the passenger side dashboard cracked around the air bag. They won't replace. Oil pump seal has been leaking slowly for years so I had it replaced ($1200) and at the same time power steering pump was bad ($800). Acura told me my hands free device broke cause I didn't use it ($700) if I decide to replace it. Not! All the paint came off the rear spoiler ($300) to have it repainted. The guts to my ignition broke off inside so I couldn't turn the key to start the car. This was covered under extended warranty. Actuator in front passenger door replaced. Both actuators in the mirrors broke ($324) to replace. The motor for the driver side window so I couldn't wind the window down. Acura wanted $551 to replace. Bought motor at RockAuto for $46 and body shop replaced for $80. Plastic piece over cupholder broke in half; Acura replaced ($200). I've been buying cars for over 50 years and this is by far the worst car I've ever owned. I will never again buy a Honda product. By the way, the hands free device was draining my battery.

Vince Wilkes says:

I've had a parasitic drain for a while and pinned it to something in the overhead module and voila, this was it. I figured that out before I found this video but it confirmed to me what this unit is. Ugh. $400 to replace no bueno. I hadn't used it but was thinking about it…

Michael Jones says:

Thank you, that was very helpful

Wolf Party says:

Is there any info on diy/fixing the HF Module?

Ziqi Fang says:

This video made me hop out of bed, get dressed, run out into the parking lot, at 2am in Indiana winter night rain, just to pull the HFL module off. Let’s hope this will save my battery!

Timothy says:

Which one to I unplug? My battery keep dying.

Jeffrey Smith says:

Hey Eric or any of his subscribers. I have a 2008 MDX, the HFL/Bluetooth is out. Is there a Acura/Honda model other than the MDX that is compatible with the Bluetooth. Example.. can I take the HFL out of a TL or a Odyssey? If so, what years do these models need to be?

Joelo.N Chirinos says:

Donde encuentro el código?
