How to setup on a dash cam on a 2022 Subaru Forester. This is arguably the easiest modification to protect yourself on the road today. I am using the following products in this video:
2022 Subaru Forester Sport

1. Dongar Technologies Adapter (https://dongar.tech/products/subaru5pin)
2. Garmin Dash Cam Tandem
3. Plastic Trim Removal Tool
4. Philips Head Screwdriver
my 22 Forester Touring doesn't have the auto dimming mirror, will the adaptor your showing still work?
Can you also show how to install the rare cam?
Does it affects car warranty?
do you have to unplug the battery or not? if not is there a possibility that it will short some electronics or the ecu board while installing it?
Clean install but aren't you worried about messing up the Eyesight system?
Dude this is epic!!!!
Hi – I couldn’t find the one mentioned after I opened the console… 1:30 I could see all the cables on the left look the same as shown in your video but not the part at the right hand side…
Hey just saw this and one for the outback. So is that the only way to do this one? On the outback the guy was able to pull down a tab on the rear view mirror center and just put it there without unscrewing anything. Was just wondering if that’s a possibility here.
Ordered the adopter after watching your video. Excited to try it out myself. Thank you! Very helpful guide!
Wonder if you found anything related to the voltage/wattage it supports? Didn't see it on their website.
Someone pointed me here telling me it's an almost exact copy of my video I posted on July 7 of 2022. No big deal I speak french in mine with english caption so english speakers may prefer yours.
Will this work for 2023 forester premium sir?
Will this make it a hardware setup or just when the vehicle is actually started?
Does any other company make this adapter?
I asked support when this item would be back in stock and here is the reply on 6/12/2023.
"Thanks for reaching out. We unfortunately don't have an ETA for when this product is back in stock. We're excited to share that we have been working towards improving our manufacturing process. But because of these changes, we can't provide a date for when this will be up and running."
Too bad they don't have any. Needs a way to add more devices as well. Not just one dashcam.
