Thanks for your video. Separating the two halves seemed like the only way to open the fob but I didn't dare try it until I viewed your reassuring video.

Seeing this today, haven't had to change this battery in the 5yrs I've owned the van and this vid had me take 4min out of my day to swap batteries. Thanks for saving me a run to the mechanic!

Perfect! Thank you 🙂

We've had our 2013 T&C for many years and have had to replace the key fob battery once before but my wife had took it to the dealer because I wasn't available at the time. It was time to replace it again and found your video. Thank you so much for providing the battery information. Incidentally, I only found one hardware store that happened to carry it and was able to replace it in a snap. Thanks again for a quick yet precise informative video that is still necessary in April 2021.

Yes, thank you.

@amywalker8043 says:

Doesnt work the top comes off, not the back…

@barbaranichols206 says:

Thank you. This took less than a minute and works fantastic. The dealership charges $5 to replace the battery. Thank you video!

The time it takes to find these videos and see how to do the job right makes it so worth it. Only needed 20 seconds and the right battery, CR-2032. Thanks much!

Mine has a door on the back and is very hard to get the battery out through it. I will try this way next time for sure!
