Cost-effective fix – deleting need for troublesome vacuum saves future replacement cost and frustration
Patented design – exclusively engineered in the United States by highly trained automotive experts
Fully reversible – actuator includes vacuum caps for holding remnant lines and allow for restoring original function in future
This unique solution fits select vehicle models, including Ford Expedition 2015-03, Ford F-150 2015-04, and Lincoln Mark LT 2008-06, Lincoln Navigator 2015-03. To learn more, visit the product description page for this part: https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-101732-600-405.aspx
Wtf? You might wanna explain to people that means your front drive shaft and both axles will always be spinning ALL THE TIME. more wear and less gas mileage
Is yalls OE replacement version of the iwe had a wide contact section? Not the delete kit, yalls vacuum oe replacement yall sale. It would still be a bit of an upgrade if yall have a better/wider/stronger tooth engagement contact area. Please let me know what yalls differences are to oe ford.
for FUCK sakes guys THIS DOES NOT LOCK IT IN 4WD!!!!
FRONT DRIVE SHAFT NEEDS TO BE SPINNING THE DIF TO BE IN 4WD
2WD WILL BE FREE SPINNING AT THE T-CASE!!!
Can anyone verify if these work for 2016-20 trucks? I don’t see any reason why factory IWE hubs would be different
So after installing this kit you won’t have to connect the vacuum lines back into the new actuators? Thanks in Advance.
Will they fit on a 2018 3.5L F 150 ?
Essentially a person could just disconnect the vacuum hoses to the actuators to have them engaged all the time then, no? Unless of course they are stuck in the disconnected position.
Will these work with auto 4wd t-case
PUT SET OF THESE IN TRUCK FOR FRIEND AFTER REPLACING ACTUATOR AND BEARING 6 MONTHS AGO..AND DOING IT AGAIN TODAY AFTER EATING UP BEARING……AT 700 DOLLARS CANADIAN FOR BEARING HUB THE 300 FOR THIS KIT AND ELIMINATING FUTURE ISSUES IS NO BRAINER…WORKS AMAZING..CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT FRIEND THINKS AFTER DAY IN THE MUD…HE IS OILFIELD OPERATOR AND ALWAYS IN NASTY PLACES..
Dorman, I just got a pair of these IWE hub actuators installed. Question is, since now my axles are turning all the time do I need to replace the front differential fluid to extend the longevity of the internal components of the front differential?
Dorman – can you provide a summary on the benefits of this delete, over the RCV ring?
I can imagine being a closed system it prevents element exposure to the CV/hub, but unlike the RCV rings, I imagine it also has the ability to break in the same manner the OE part does?
