ON my 66 fleet side the piece on the frame that the check attaches to is welded from the inside and it has come loose. Can I buy that piece? I assume it has nuts on the inside, how do I get to them?
Put some grease on the pliers, the bb in the grease and then flare. Just my idea. Watching and learning from you. Thanks.
Dave- thanks for this video, it helped me to easily replace the door check on my 65 C10! Much appreciated, down to earth and practical advise.
A video for every problem!
Just got a 63 C10 and these videos are great!
Hi Dave… good video. Can you show how to fix the dent in the front of the door? i have a similar one, but smaller, on my truck, and is difficult to work on given the location. Any tricks of the trade for this?
I’m so glad I subscribed to the channel I learn from it every time I watch it and save them. Keep up the great work you do .
Good vid again Dave. Good info for an often overlooked part on those years of trucks! Thanks!

Is the ripple in the front of the door from a failed 'door check'?
