Thanks for showing me how to fix my 135hp mercury same problem parts on the way
Really good video. I’m working on my 89 150 with one bank without spark. Very good help. Thanks
The first 1/3 of this video is has nothing to do with the title………. I can’t wait to see the rest
My 97 mercury 150 efi just started to act up and I noticed my cylinder 3 plug was not firing. I knew this because I replaced all new plugs and wires and plug number 3 was like new never fired once. I replaced the coil on no 3 and still no luck. I traced the wires to the switch box so I think this is my next fix. Of course mine traced to the one underneath. Go Figure. What symptom did you have with yours ? Cylinders not firing. One or more? Can this still be my problem with only one not firing? Thanks in advance
how would i go about testing to see if my stator is bad on one of these motors
What kind of boat is that? Make? Model?
Good practice to always replace both switch boxes at the same time.
My mercury 90 2 stroke stalls when being put in gear but only after it's warmed up. I tested ignition coils they're good. Could this be the power pack?
Thanks. I am replacing mine on my 97 efi 150 this week. Went bad yesterday. Great Video!!!
