#AUDI #A4 #B7
In this Episode, David and I install my Catch Can and the PCV Delete kit. We compare his 2009 AUDI TT S Engine to my AUDI A4 B7 Engine, we also compare his Catch Can vs Mine.

hey what are all the hose, fitting, and adapter specs. my vent is 1 inch and the catch can is 3/8 inch and there is no reducer for that so just wondering what your parts are thanks
Any issues or she's still sweet?
Thanks
Which way is In? The hose from top? Out is the turbo?
What size is that 90deg adapter
. Hey, it works fine, I think I will buy it too
Is the stock pcv still on ?
So quick question I have a 2007 what's a 2 liter turbo why use the PVC delete.? Basically asking why do what you guys did what are the benefits
Any issues with this setup?
Installing oil catch can is fine like you did but undersized hose diameter and blocking lines from crankcase to intake manifold possibly can blow rear main seal isn't that true?
Please let us know how often you topped up oil before and after the catch can. Thanks.
B7 A4 2.0t Q 6speed titanium US spec in GTA, Ontario
How the pcv works on th B7, when idle, in a vacuum state, the pistons suck air(through air intake system) and crankcase vapors through the diaphragm valve(pcv) atop the valve cover into the intake manifold.
When in boost, the diaphragm closes off the intake manifold side and crankcase vapors get routed and sucked through the turbo inlet via the the flex aluminum crankcase vent pipe which connects to the valve cover.
As you can imagine, having the turbo in boost sucking in all that air under high pressure, it will suck small amounts of oil as well, very little at a time, but ALL the time in boost so it adds up. Low oil levels because the oil is going into the intake system, pooling in the intercoolers and then burnt in the engine out the exhaust.
Have you ever emptied the oil from your intercoolers, left and right?
A sometimes unnoticed remedy of having the catch can on the hot side of the air system is oil suction directly from the valve cover. This is what causes oil in the intercooler. When in boost especially hard left corning the turbo sucks in oil from the valve cover via the crankcase pipe that goes to the side of the turbo inlet.
The reason why the cstch can only catches water is bcs the catch can doesn't work 100% its actually useless.. i ran on my 2.0 tfsi 2 catchcans and still you can see the line going back to intake is oily inside .. i run them vent to atmosphere and i block the intake side. Thats the only way you know the oil doesn't go back to intake
We got sum hoes
Hi I had a audi a4 b7 2.0tfsi same as your red audi. Can you tell me the advantage of pcv delete with catch can installed, and dis advantage. Engine, turbo and oil consumption.? Do youb recommend this to make engine better and last longer. Some youtube vloger not to advice pcv delete and catch can, some would recommend, so which is better?
Yes yes more videos. How to do
What it suppose to do?
