I tried to use this technique, but I have a 2011 Forester and instead of that soft material you were able to bend out of the way, I have a metal brace that's bolted to the frame and prevents me from getting my hand in there, and I have really small hands. Any idea how to navigate this, or do I have to go to a mechanic?
How bout gettin your hand out of the way so people can see?!
Thank you so much for this video!
Thanx so much! This vid helped me change my low beams without having to go to a mechanic!!
Worthless for him to say "push (?) the [unintelligible]" (or whatever) to disconnect the electrical connector and FAIL TO SHOW "the [unintelligible]." Also, need to explain whether "the bulb" is the glass part (like any "light bulb" around the house) or if it's that whole component that the electrical connector connects to. Thus, the tutorial fails the most basic tests of teaching someone who doesn't already know the answers.
I have HID style headlight Subaru dealer told me you have to change the entire light assembly, is this true?
Thanks so much for the video. Just changed out my headlamp bulbs in less than 3 minutes! So much easier than my 2006 STi.
Easiest headlight replacement I've ever do e. Thanks for the video.
What kind of gloves are those? Are they for cold weather?
