I needed to swap my tps so I figured I’d show you guys how to do it.
00:00 intro
00:09 showing the throttle position sensor
00:54 removing the throttle position sensor
01:02 cleaning the throttle position sensor
01:26 installing the new throttle position sensor
02:00 calibrating the throttle position sensor
03:43 outro
BTW I noticed that I didn’t focus the intro and the outro but I didn’t feel like redoing them as I already installed the throttle body

I tried doing this today closed read .5 but fully open 4.3
WOW….how can i ever thank you for this gem! Very nice…
Thanks, helped me put my car back together!
Multi meter settings ??
How do you move adjust the tps when you calibrate it? It doesn’t look like you’re moving it at all
I guess I need to go get that lotto ticket
Hi friend, I cant calibrate 0,5 and 4,5 when I calibrate 0,5 I need rotate to get 4,5 and when I get 4,5 the value 0,5 isn`t correct anymore. What is that problem?
the odd screw heads are likely JIS type and 2 bits in a pack are cheap and likely #2 size as used in Japan cars
Hello 0.5 volts close is the same to any car?
The beautiful thing about mine is that is the pair of bolts to remove the tps have no markings for a particular tool to be removed with. Such a waste of time.
Why not just use the 4mm torx bit?
Do you think this fix will solve this problem: Each time I need to shif gear to D, I need to insert any long key in hole next to Shift lever, in order to unlock it and move it to D or any gear after engine start. I have a Honda Element 2006.
Thanks man! Going to try this tonight and see if it fixes my B18b issue (hesitation at +-10% throttle regardless of speed, gear or rpm).
Very professional and also so simply explained. Thanks a lot !
