I am pretty handy in the garage and can tackle almost any job on my own. This video made this job so much easier as I knew exactly what to do in the exact order. Awesome video and thanks for saving an hour of my life!
Can I do the same thing to Hyundai Veloster 2013?
Great video. I'm in the middle of replacing the valve cover gasket on my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe sport 2.0T. It's leaking in the same spot as this video. I'm down to the last bolt under the fuel line. It looks like there is a clip holding the fuel line just below and to the right of the valve cover. Is there anyway to open that clip? It looks like a metal clip. If not, I'll continue to try and flex the fuel line to see if I can get a socket on the bolt. My rubber hoses were also basically fused onto their nipples. I had to do alot of twisting, pulling, picking to get them off.
Do u need the engine cover?
You need to get a new valve cover other wise it won’t work and you will have oil leaks again
Outstanding video! I'll be knocking this out next weekend thanks to your detail. I also had the 12v Milwalkee and I dubbed it my Zing-Zing. I passed it on to one of the new mechanics who was just starting to build his tool inventory. Thanks again, Brian!
definitely had to log in to leave a comment WOW! perfect details in the narration, precise information shown – EXACTLY what I was looking for to make a repair on my Optima. Thank you!
Doing this job this weekend for my theta II and this is going to be invaluable. I've got a leak in the same spot on mine.
Hello, where is the throttle body in this engine ??
Does the gaskets fit the 2013 optima 2.0t engine? I need to change my gasket to
Do I need to replace my high pressure fuel pump gasket ?
Hyundai dealer says to replace the high-pressure fuel line and an o-ring. We lost a job today because we included that in the estimate. Ever seen a leak from the fuel line by reusing it?
