Today I show you how to install an alternator in a 2004 Nissan Maxima V6 3.5L. This will work for Maxima’s between 2004-2008
Nice video! How long did it take to do the removal and install?
Tensioner bolt is stuck and now rounded and now i hate my life and Nissan
Great video guys. I live in New England and we just got (another) 6" of snow and ice. My stepdaughter has an 05 Maxima that broke down last night. I was able to jump it and get it back to the house. Had to jump start it twice on the way home but got it back none the less. I checked the voltage on it today and it was hovering around 10 volts with the lights and heater on. It took me a few minutes to even find the alternator. I thought about doing this myself but after seeing your video and factoring in the winter weather I think I'll defer. Once again thanks for the tutorial! 🙂
How did you get the ac co.pressor plug off? Doing g this now on 2007. Can't get that plug off to get that ac C. Wire out of the way so I can pull the Alt out
My buddy and I just finished doing this, I really appreciate you guy's taking the time to show everyone how to do this. I definitely saved a lot of cash without have a mechanic do it. Thank you so much!
Ridiculous placement for the alternator. But, at least it's nothing like replacing the thermostat on an RX8.
good job! i love alternators.
This helped me so much! Single mother of 3 going to try this myself w/ my dad, wish us luck! 🙂
Keep up the good work!!
